Shawbrook Course E

Week-long residential course for full time dance students in their final year and professional dance artists.

This course serves as an introduction to professional dance theatre practice. This course provides the opportunity to work with leading practioners in their field. In this week long course, students and dancers will engage in creative workshops with international jazz director / choreographer Dollie Henry and jazz composer/musician Paul Jenkins composer musician artistic directors of the premiere jazz theatre company," Body of People"

It will run from the 24th June to the 30th June.

Week long residential dance courses providing classes in Ballet, Jazz, Aerial, Contemporary, Choreography, Theatre Craft with a performance in Shawbrook theatre twice a week. From age 10.

Cristina and Lucia will be teaching Week 4 2012.
They are choreographers/dancers in the company.
Ten spaces in this course will be offered to full-time dance students and professional dancers.

Shawbrook Youth Dance 2012

Auditions
have been held and 23 students have been chosen to dance in Anica's Pearly B, and 12 in Kristina Sorenson's piece and 20 in Chantal's piece

Master Classes: The Saturday after Easter dance master-classes are given by international dance teachers/mentors to students of vocational and professional standard in ballet/jazz/contemporary dance .This year it is Simon Rice for ballet ( teaches at the Royal Ballet School) and Soltys Vladislave for contemporary dance
